Witherbees hit it on all marks.....I had the lobster special and it was delicious! The service was great and I enjoyed the ambiance. Definitely would return.

"Freshly made warm gooey chocolate chip cookies" came out far too late, without milk, and seemed like bigger versions of Chips Ahoy

Awesome food and great service and the best wifi.

Had the special, prime rib. Terrible! Three of us ordered it. It looked like a inch thick slice of well done roast beef. Three out of four ordered it. Waitress didn't seem to notice that no one really ate it. Dog loved it.

We made reservations for dinner. When we arrived they sat us and then told us that they were busy with a large party upstairs. We waited 2hrs for our food and when it came out it was horrible!!! This was the 2nd time we have gone there and have been completely dissatisfied! We will never return.

This place isn’t good. I had to send back three meals. The bartender was drinking dinks she made while serving other people their. And another time I went their I waited thirty minutes at the bar for the bartender/Grace to serve me. And other times I have gone their with my family, we sat downstairs and we could hear the people in the kitchen yelling and using profanity which completely ruined our night out for my mother’s birthday.

Terrific food!. Great discussion with the owner. The atmosphere was fantastic. Check out all the collectibles and antiques as this is part of the experience. Prices were reasonable and I left full. We will go back again and again.

This is a nice place to dine. It Is way To Go To Regularly. There are nice antiques there an they also offer free popcorn.

Great restaurant and local Hangout. Always some live entertainment but make reservations. Always busy. Owner Bill, is a gem, but he's selling so I hope the new owners keep it up. Food is always good!

Good bar food, and great atmosphere.

The Service was not trained and food took a long time to come out.. The waitress was on her second day and on her own.My wife ordered broiled Salmon with white wine butter sauce but got poached salmon with a lemon slice.Ask the waitress if they could just take it off the bill and she would just eat it because we didn't want to wait again. She said she had to get the manager. The manager said she could get a new one in 7 minutes, so we said yes.Turned out to be 15 with with the same piece of Salmon, now broiled and overcooked. And the veggies and sides were cold.Also the original order of Pork chops was not available and the waitress wasn't informed until after the order had had been placed.

Unfortunately, the bar isn’t the friendliest or the nicest service. The wings need to be revisited because they were the worst we’d ever had. It was disappointing that when we left them on the bar untouched, the bartender who was also the owner, never asked if there was a problem. We also ordered mozzarella sticks that were clearly from a freezer served with tomato paste. My husband and I enjoyed this place when it was Terio’s however we’re disappointed with the Witherbee’s experience. I write this not to be cruel, but as a past restaurant owner, I would want the feedback in order to improve my establishment and better ensure my long term success. Best of luck in your endeavors.

My favorite place in Schroon Lake. Good food good music and I love the staff!!

We first stopped by Witherbee’s for the fund raiser for the Schroon Lake Community Church and we liked the place so much that we have been back multiple times. The food is always top shelf and staff is very attentive especially Kendra. We love the atmosphere and enjoy the live music. Our new go to place for our date nights.

The service is great. The food is fresh with lots of regular pub choices and also delicious inventive dishes. Thursday night open mic was a great time.

We stopped here somewhat randomly on our way up to Montreal, and what a pleasant surprise it was! The food was delicious, the staff was very nice, and best of all: there was a live folk band! Great stop, would highly recommend. We ordered the steak sandwich and bacon wrapped scallops -- both very tasty!

Pretty good eats. I enjoyed my shaved steak sandwich as did my father. Broccoli cheddar soup was so-so. My daughter enjoyed the cheese sticks (fried cheese). Good service, good atmosphere.

My wife and I ate there on July 23rd 2019, prime rib special night, worst steak ever...no taste and tough to chew....appeared to be old food at salad bar...both of us felt sick that evening....sent email to owner, Patty responded, basically no apology and a lot of defense statements, we should have complained while we were there but we didn’t because we aren’t that type...no wonder it’s for sale in my opinion.......Bob Taranto. I wouldn’t have listed my comment here if either Bill or Patty called me back in response to my email vs a defensive non-caring email response.

Best steak and beef in region. Only upstate NY restaurant worthwhile!

Great place to eat. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly family & staff. Absolutely a little gem in the Adirondacks.

The upstairs is very kid friendly with pool table, live music, self serve popcorn machine. Perhaps the best bowl of chili I ever tasted. Excellent appetizers and entrées. Good selection of tapped beers/micro-brews. The busy weekends sometimes causes the kitchen to get backed up, but the meal is always seems freshly made and cooked as requested. Owner is hands on and always good for a smile. Especially if you ask him if he knows any limericks or poems. Great personality. We try to stop by every time we are in the area.

We were the first patrons to arrive. The waitress was young and seemed to be new. She didn't know the menu. She didn't tell us about any specials or offer bread/rolls. The salad bar was nice. French onion soup very good. My husband ordered the prime rib. Asked about horseradish sauce, waitress was unsure but would ask. Rib came out without horseradishh sauce or even any mention of it. Nor did it have any au jus and meat was very grizzly. I had Penne Pasta with wine sauce and added chicken. It was bland. Unsweetened iced tea and lemonade was good. Was disappointed. For a 69.00 meal wasn't satisfied. Not sure it we'll give it another try!

Wonderful people and atmosphere! The food was excellent with great presentation....highly recommend to stop here when in the area!

Service was slow and sub par. Took over an hour to make 3 burgers and bartenders ignored my party the entire time. Burger was extremely overcooked and well below average.

Awesome food, great service.... interesting place....you have to go see it too understand what I'm talking about...
